Jade (nephrite) is found in a lot of countries. It is formed with different minerals so can be found in a lot of colours ranging from black through blues and greens to white. Some of my favorites from outside new Zealand would be blacks and olives from Wyoming, white and browns from Siberia and brilliant greens from Canada. The word jade covers two different minerals – nephrite and jadeite.
